This webinar explores the little-known French Kindertransports, or children\u2019s transports, which allowed Jewish children in France to escape to safety in the US.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Author Lilly Maier\u2019s story begins when she was 11 years old.\u00a0 A Kindertransport participant, now 75 years old, knocked on the door of her family\u2019s house in Vienna \u2013 where he and his family had lived before the Holocaust.
