What is the Burger Inn of Court?<\/p>\n

The Warren E. Burger Inn of Court is a professional organization of judges, lawyers, law professors and law students in their final year of law school who are devoted to promoting Legal Excellence, Civility, Professionalism and Ethics in the law profession.<\/p>\n

Why should I consider being a member?<\/p>\n

You will have the opportunity to meet and become acquainted with judges and lawyers you may never have met if not for this experience.
\nThere are nine Mitchell Hamline School of Law student members in the Inn each year. Each student member is assigned to a group that is hosted by a judge. You will work with the other members of the Inn of Court on a presentation that your group will present to the Inn membership. Each month a different group presents on their topic.
\nActive participation as a student member is very important to a successful Inn of Court experience.
\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to meet practicing attorneys and judges and build a relationship with other members of the Inn.
\nMeeting time and locations<\/p>\n

The Inn will meet on the third Wednesday of each month from September 2023 through May 2025. This year\u2019s meetings will be held on
\nWednesday, September 18
\nWednesday, October 16
\nWednesday, November 20
\nWednesday, January 15
\nWednesday, February 12
\nWednesday, March 19
\nWednesday, April 16
\nWednesday, May 21
\nEach meeting will begin with a Social Hour from 5-6pm and will be followed by Dinner and a Program from 6-8pm. All Inn of Court meetings will be held at the Town & Country Club, 300 Mississippi River Blvd., St. Paul, MN 55104.<\/p>\n

In person attendance is required at Inn of Court meetings and student members must attend all meetings.
