The Minnesota-Dakotas Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) is happy to announce that we are returning with a new and improved mentorship program for the 2024-2025 school year! The mentorship program is run through AILA\u2019s New Member Division. Our goal is to introduce law students and new attorneys to members of the Immigration Bar and what it means to be a practicing immigration attorney.<\/p>\n
Our mentorship program this year aims to serve a wide variety of students, whether you are dipping your toe into deciding whether immigration law is right for you, or are hoping to find your first job as an immigration attorney. The program is what you make of it\u2014we can answer questions about practicing immigration law in a one-off coffee, pair with a formal mentor, or introduce you to attorneys open to allowing you to shadow them in immigration court.<\/p>\n
