If you\u2019re passionate about legal scholarship and want to play a key role in publishing policy-focused articles, apply for one of our open positions:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"default\">\n<li><strong>Editor-In-Chief<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Oversees all journal operations and makes final decisions on board matters.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Managing Editor<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Supports the EIC with formatting, budgeting, and administrative tasks.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Articles Editors (2)<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Solicit, review, and develop articles from external authors.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Primary Editors (2)<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Work directly with Writing Associates to refine their papers for publication.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Symposium Editor<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Leads the planning of JPPP\u2019s annual policy symposium.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Policy Editor<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Manages The Quadriga blog and organizes the annual legislative forum.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Production Editor<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Conducts final grammar, fact, and citation checks for published articles.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Digital Editor<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Maintains and enhances the journal\u2019s online presence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Board applications can be found on the JPPP webpage, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mitchellhamline.edu\/law-journal\">mitchellhamline.edu\/law-journal<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>If you&#8217;re interested in an associate position, write-on will occur at the end of the Spring semester and will include the following positions:<\/p>\n<p><strong>JPPP Associate Positions<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"default\">\n<li><strong>Writing Associate (2 credits)<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 Write an 8,500-word public policy-focused paper that meets MHSL&#8217;s Advanced Research &amp; Writing requirement. The paper is developed with support from a faculty advisor and a JPPP board member. Credits can be allocated in the Fall, Spring, or J-term.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Editing Associate (1 credit)<\/strong> \u2013 Edit citations and substantive portions of JPPP articles. Associates are assigned to a team and work under the guidance of a dedicated board member.
