Mitchell Hamline Law Review Volume 52 Write-On Information<\/b><\/p>\n

Wednesday, May 21 \u2013 Sunday, June 1, 2025<\/p>\n

Join the\u00a0Mitchell Hamline Law Review\u00a0through our Write-On process! This is an opportunity to sharpen your legal writing, editing, and citation skills while becoming part of a collaborative team dedicated to publishing high-quality legal scholarship.<\/p>\n

What to Expect:<\/b>
\nOver ten days, applicants will complete three components:<\/p>\n

    \n
  • Bluebook Quiz<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 Demonstrate your ability to edit citations and verify sources through 20 citation corrections and 20 multiple-choice questions.<\/li>\n
  • Case Note Outline<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 Analyze a recent Minnesota Supreme Court case using provided materials (no outside research required). Instead of writing a full Case Note, you\u2019ll submit an outline and abstract, showcasing your thesis development and argument organization.<\/li>\n
  • Personal Statement<\/b>\u00a0\u2013 In 400\u2013600 words, explain why you want to join Law Review and how your unique skills and experiences will contribute to our team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Important Details:<\/b><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Write-On applications are submitted and evaluated anonymously.<\/li>\n
    • Successful applicants will be notified in mid-June, before OCI interviews conclude.<\/li>\n
    • A Write-On training session will be offered to help applicants prepare.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
