The Legal Association of Women Students is looking for 4 board members for the 2025-2026 school year!<\/p>\n

If you are going to be 2, 3, or 4L in the fall, please consider applying to be a LAWS Board Member! Applications are open now until Friday, April 4th at 5 pm CST<\/strong>. Three of the four positions available are open to both BAM and blended students.<\/p>\n

Positions open:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Secretary\/MWL Liaison:<\/strong>\u00a0The secretary acts as the liaison between LAWS and Minnesota Women Lawyers. The secretary is also expected to attend all LAWS board meetings and assist other board members as needed. Duties may include coordinating monthly meetings and taking meeting minutes. This board member must be a local student <\/strong>due to the nature of the position.<\/li>\n
  2. Events Coordinator (2 spots open):<\/strong>\u00a0Primary duties include planning and facilitating LAWS events. This may include brainstorming events, reaching out to perspective panelists, and securing rooms. This position is open to both BAM and blended students.<\/li>\n
  3. Outreach Director:<\/strong>\u00a0Primary duties include creating marketing for LAWS events as well as posting to our social media pages. This position is open to both BAM and blended students.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
