This roleplay involves a negotiation between the Us and Mexico over territory which was the subject of a treaty between the two countries. The US has controlled the territory for 100 years and the territory requires that it be handed over to Mexico in 6 months. Under pressure from the UN Secretary-General, both countries have agreed to send senior-level negotiators to bilateral talks in Geneva, Switzerland.
