Lesson on Negotiation based on Richard Shell’s Bargaining for Advantage and video clips from the Tom Hanks movie Bridge of Spies, where Tom Hanks plays Ray Donovan, a New York lawyer who is appointed to defend a Russian spy in the late 1950s and then later is tasked with negotiating his client’s swap for U2 pilot Francis Gary Powers by negotiating with the East Germans and Russians. Teaching notes include time stamps from the movie to highlight educational points.
