Situation involves a company that was bought by a large multi-national pharmaceutical company who then terminated some of the employees. One employee is suing for age and disability discrimination and retaliation for exercising FMLA rights. Suit has been filed and discovery is largely complete.
The simulation can be done as a mediation or a negotiation and there are parts for each. Teaching notes contain links to videos which can be used in conjunction with this simulation.
