Mitchell Hamline School of Law (MHSL) is committed to ensuring equal access to educational opportunities, programs and services for all qualified students in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and does not discriminate on the basis of disability in the administration of its education-related programs and activities
Students who require accommodation(s) due to a documented disability should contact Disability Services or visit the Disability Services webpage. Students requesting accommodations must do so through the Accommodation Request Process and provide appropriate documentation of: (1) a disability, which is a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits one or more major life activities; and (2) a need for accommodation, by virtue of the specific functional limitations of the disability, to have equal access to educational opportunities. If a student does not have access to documentation, the Disability Services team still encourages students to submit an Accommodation Request and explore options together. The law school intends that these procedures will facilitate an interactive process of dialogue and timely exchange of information between the student and the law school.
Disability Services is located within Dean of Students office, room 119. For more information, please visit the Disability Services Webpage or contact DisabilityServices@mitchellhamline.edu.
