Founded in 1967, the National Black Law Students Association was established to promote academic and professional excellence in the study and practice of law by African American law students. Our chapter provides recruiting, academic, cultural, social, and career support via monthly meetings, study groups and workshops, social events, and visits from local, national, and international jurists. It also sponsors the Civil Rights Moot Court Competition. Our membership represents continental African, Caribbean, and North American cultures.
