Professional Focus
Professor Byrne keeps current on tax issues, particularly tax policy, and food law issues, including food safety, organic standards, genetic engineering, FDA approval and labeling requirements, as well as nutrition and diet-related health outcomes. She has spoken on progressive taxes, taxation of mutual funds, and gender bias in the federal income tax.
