Legal Writing Instructor; Director, Competitions and Externships
Erica Strohl has taught in Mitchell Hamline’s Legal Writing program since 2010—in both the blended learning and on-campus programs.
Strohl attended the University of Minnesota Law School, clerked at the Minnesota Court of Appeals, and worked as a public defender and in private practice before coming to Mitchell Hamline.
“No matter the area of law students wish to enter, precise, clear legal writing will be critical to their success. I look forward to working with students as they are introduced to legal writing in their first year and begin to apply their knowledge of it in class.”
