Suzanne Scheller is an attorney with Scheller Legal Solutions LLC. She practices in the areas of elder abuse and neglect litigation, financial exploitation, elder law, elder mediation as a qualified neutral, and estate planning. Ms. Scheller is active in the elder law community; including promoting the interests of the elderly and disabled through legal representation; supporting families as they care for aging parents through consultation and mediation; and advocating for public awareness, policy changes and legislative reform as a Board Member of the Minnesota Elder Justice Center. Ms. Scheller is the former chair and a current governing council member of the Elder Law Section of the Minnesota State Bar Association. Suzanne Scheller is a graduate of Hamline University School of Law, an adjunct professor in Elder Law at Hamline University School of Law and William Mitchell College of Law, and a guest lecturer at the University of St. Thomas School of Law. She is a frequent author and speaker on elder law issues, including financial exploitation, nursing home admission agreements, injury claims in the long-term care setting, health care directives and end-of-life treatment, and elder mediation. She is passionate about bringing the interests of consumers to a broader stakeholder community to prevent harm and to improve the quality of life for vulnerable adults and their families.
