Mary Szto writes about property issues such as the role of real estate agents and housing discrimination. She also writes on the relationship of ritual and law, both in China and the US. Prior to entering teaching, Professor Szto practiced law in New York City representing banks in financing matters. She also co-founded a legal aid organization specializing in immigration law. Professor Szto teaches Business Organizations, Property, and a seminar in Chinese law. She has also taught Contracts and a seminar on race and the law.
