ParkingParking passes are required to park in all Mitchell Hamline parking lots. Students in their 2nd, 3rd, and 4th years can purchase a parking pass for the Summit Lot in August prior to the start of classes. There are a limited number of passes sold for these lots. Students may receive a free parking pass for the Grotto lot. Students are also able to park on St. Paul City Streets around the school, making sure that you pay close attention to signed and unsigned parking restrictions. Passes can be requested by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
LockersLockers can be rented for $50 per year. You will need to fill out a request form at the security desk at the main entrance of the school. You will need to provide your own lock. Lockers are rented on a first-come, first-served basis and a notice will be sent to all students at the beginning of each fall semester to alert them to the application period.
Book lists will be found on the Black Board page for each course.
Once you choose the course names, you will be asked to select the section number. Be sure to buy the exact edition of the book listed, older editions will vary greatly and page numbers will not be the same as the edition your professor lists. The bookstore is located in the lower level of the school. Stairs leading down from the commons/food area will take you to the bookstore.

Application amendments and updates
If, after enrollment, you recall or are made aware of an incident that you should have disclosed upon application, you are required to disclose this information to the school.
Students who enroll at Mitchell Hamline are required to disclose violations of the law until graduation from Mitchell Hamline. There are two exceptions: (1) parking violations do not need to be reported; and (2) moving violations that do not involve drugs or alcohol do not need to be reported. Note: Parking or moving violations that indicate a pattern of conduct should be disclosed. Generally, a single incident during your law school career falls within the exceptions.
The demands of law school can place stress on individuals, relationships, and work and academic performance. Mitchell Hamline School of Law provides counseling for no initial cost and a $25 copayment thereafter. This is short term counseling with a maximum of 10 sessions. Students who are not able to pay the $25 co-pay may be able to arrange for a lower cost. Counseling Services can also provide assessments and referrals when appropriate. Discussions are confidential and can be reflective of personal concerns as well as those of an academic nature. Students use Counseling Services for normal life concerns as well as feeling of crisis. The therapists are experienced and licensed professionals, not otherwise connected with Mitchell Hamline School of Law. Counseling Services also provides regular presentations relating to things such as Stress Management, Time Management, Enhancing Test Performance, and Mental Health/Chemical Dependency issues.
