Adjunct/Affiliated Professor
Professor Cohen represented state environmental agencies as a Minnesota Assistant Attorney General from 1985 to 2018. From 2018-2024, Professor Cohen was employed by the Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy as a senior staff attorney, where she managed appellate litigation involving permits for the “PolyMet” mining project on behalf of a variety of environmental interest group clients. Professor Cohen presently teaches administrative law at MHLS, works part-time at the Minnesota Environmental Quality Board, and is active with the Minnesota State Bar Association Administrative Law Council and Appellate Law Clinic.
