Assistant Teaching Professor
Amber Jannusch joined the Academic Excellence team in 2026. She is an experienced college professor and law tutor, interested in integrating mental health and wellness in legal education and practice. Her previous research and teaching sits at the intersection of interpersonal communication and persuasion. In this current role at Mitchell Hamline, her work is transitioning into psychological and pedagogical interventions in legal education. Specifically, she is focused on making law school and bar prep less painful and more fulfilling.
Jannusch is a lifelong learner, a curious investigator, and a zealous advocate for social justice. As a graduate of the first law school in the country, she is passionate about helping shape lawyers who understand their unique duty and obligation to the rule of law and the functioning of our society.
