Christy M. Penton graduated magna cum laude from Mitchell Hamline’s blended-learning program with a Certificate in Healthcare Compliance. She has a master’s degree in health care management (Troy University), a bachelor’s degree in cellular and molecular biology (University of West Florida), and an associate degree in registered nursing (Pensacola Junior College). She obtained C.H.C. certification in 2018 and maintains her RN licensure.
Christy practices solo at Penton Law Center (Florida and Louisiana offices) primarily in estate planning, probate, real property, contract law, medical malpractice, and landlord tenant. Christy is also a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum.
Prior to law, Christy worked as a health care IT manager responsible for designing, building, and maintaining electronic health records systems. She subsequently owned a consulting company providing clinical IT services to numerous hospitals nationwide. Her nursing background includes 10 years in adult critical care and outpatient surgical recovery.
