Adjunct/Affiliated Professor
Judge Cynthia L. McCollum was appointed as a District Court Judge by Governor Mark Dayton on Oct. 20, 2014. Her current term expires Jan. 2017. She received her B.A. from the University of Minnesota and her J.D. at William Mitchell College of Law. She was a senior attorney for the Hennepin County Defender’s Office and an adjunct professor of law at William Mitchell College of Law, Hamline University School of Law and Mitchell Hamline School of Law. Judge McCollum has been a lead faculty and Co-Director of the North Star Regional Trial Skills Program, National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA). She is the former chair of the Board of Directors, Minnetonka Anchor Club.
