Shareholder and Associate General Counsel, Bassford Remele, P.A.
Jennifer Bovitz is a shareholder, trial lawyer, and associate general counsel at Bassford Remele. With decades of experience in both trial and appellate courts, she has a deep background in criminal, civil, and ethics matters. Before entering private practice, Jennifer served as a prosecutor, trying serious felony cases before juries. She also served as a Managing Attorney at the Minnesota Office of Lawyers Professional Responsibility.
In addition to her practice, Jennifer is a respected voice in the legal community. She frequently presents at continuing legal education programs and writes an ethics column. Dedicated to service, she has coached mock trial teams, mentored law students, volunteered at the Friends in Need Food Shelf where she also served on the board, and contributed to the Washington County Community Corrections Advisory Board.
Jennifer serves as adjunct faculty in the skills practicum course and has previously taught appellate advocacy.
