Jennifer S. Bovitz is a Minnesota District Court judge, appointed by Governor Tim Walz in 2026. Previously, she was a shareholder and associate general counsel at Bassford Remele, P.A., and held leadership positions with the Minnesota Office of Lawyers Professional Responsibility. She also served as an assistant county attorney in Dakota, Chisago, and Washington counties, where she prosecuted serious felony cases.
Jennifer is a frequent continuing legal education presenter and writer on legal ethics. At Mitchell Hamline, she teaches skills-based courses and has previously taught appellate advocacy. She currently teaches General Practice: Skills Practicum.
