Senior Commercial Counsel - Contracts, Data Privacy & Regulatory Compliance, TSI Incorporated
Sam Foster is a senior commercial counsel at TSI. He advises on complex commercial, regulatory, and data privacy matters across multiple jurisdictions. He is also a co-owner of The Press Room, a community-based fitness center in New Richmond, Wis. Foster previously served as associate general counsel and data privacy officer at Compeer Financial and clerked for the Honorable Elizabeth Cowan Wright, U.S. Magistrate Judge for the District of Minnesota. Before becoming a lawyer, he served in the Minnesota Air National Guard and helped drive innovation in agricultural lending. Foster earned his J.D. as an evening student at Mitchell Hamline. He holds an MBA from the University of Wisconsin MBA Consortium and a bachelor’s degree in applied social science with a focus in economics from the University of Wisconsin – Stout.
