Principal Attorney, Purks Law
Shakora H. Purks-Morris is the founding and principal attorney of Purks Law, serving clients across western New York in criminal defense, estate planning, and real estate matters. Born and raised in Buffalo, N.Y., he brings a strong commitment to community-centered legal care and a professional background spanning public service, compliance, and management.
He earned his J.D. from Mitchell Hamline, completing advanced study in international business arbitration through Queen Mary University of London and Mitchell Hamline’s Dispute Resolution Institute.
His experience includes serving as an assistant county attorney in Allegany County, N.Y., supporting legislative and contractual matters, as well as prior work with the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office and in-house with a large regional health insurer. Before law, he held leadership roles with nationally recognized brands and continues to support meaningful community organizations.
