Principal Lecturer in Law, University of Greenwich, School of Law and Criminology
Carol Withey is a principal lecturer in criminal law and joined the University of Greenwich in 2006. In 2011 she was promoted to University Teaching Fellow in recognition of excellence in teaching. She qualified as a barrister in 1999 (Inns of Court School of Law), read Law at London University (external degree) and Sociology and Politics at Bristol University.Before joining the University of Greenwich, she taught Criminal Law and the Law of Evidence on the London University External LLB Programme. She has also lectured in Criminal Law at Kent Law School and CILEX Law School. Carol was awarded Fellowship status from the Higher Education Academy in 2005.
