Director Counsel, Operational Strategies, Target
David E. March is director counsel, operational strategies for Target, where he is responsible for managing a broad range of transactional matters for Target, including the legal affairs of two of Target’s wholly-owned subsidiaries based in San Francisco. March was an attorney at the Robins Kaplan law firm in Minneapolis, and served as a judicial law clerk at the Minnesota Supreme Court for Justice Paul H. Anderson and Justice James Gilbert. March is the founder and chair of the Minnesota Corporate Pro Bono Council, and he serves on the executive board of Mid-Minnesota Legal Aid. He is a member of the Minnesota Bar Association’s (MSBA) Access to Justice Committee. He is the recipient of a 2013 Minnesota Lawyer “Attorneys of the Year Award”, and he volunteers in connection with various civil legal aid organizations focused on immigration, housing and poverty issues. March is a frequent speaker at MSBA CLEs and programs of the Pro Bono Institute in Washington, D.C. Mr. March received his B.A. from the University of Minnesota, Duluth and his J.D., cum laude, from William Mitchell College of Law.
