Eliot Tracz

Eliot Tracz currently clerks for the Hon. Kathy Wallace, of the Olmsted County District Court. He earned his B.A. in Political Science from Coe College and his J.D. from DePaul University College of Law. During law school Eliot was a member of the DePaul Journal of Health Care Law, externed for a judge of the Circuit Court of Cook County, and clerked at several litigation firms. 

Eliot’s research interests focus on the rights of prisoners and criminal defendants, as well as constitutional and statutory interpretation. Recently, his work has appeared in the University of North Dakota Law Review, Capital University Law Review, and Mitchell Hamline Journal of Public Policy & Practice. His writing has been cited by scholars in both the United States and abroad.
