Emily Weichsel grew up in Duluth and obtained her bachelor’s degree there at the College of St. Scholastica. Emily earned her J.D. from Mitchell Hamline in 2018. She clerked at the Minnesota Court of Appeals for Judges Jill Flaskamp Halbrooks and James B. Florey. Emily currently represents adults subject to guardianship and conservatorship proceedings at Hennepin County Adult Representation Services. Emily has served as a structured study group leader, a Marshall-Brennan fellow, and an adjunct professor for critical lawyering, constitutional law: powers, and estates and trusts.
