Kevin Cassidy is senior counsel at Hippo Holdings in Austin, Texas, where he advises on artificial intelligence governance, privacy, cybersecurity, and insurance regulatory matters, and serves as a member of Hippo’s AI Committee. Cassidy previously worked as associate legal counsel for Incline Insurance Group, a multi-carrier fronting platform supporting program business and MGAs; as chief general counsel, secretary, and chief compliance officer of Sons of Norway; and with Minnesota IT Services as associate general counsel and data practices compliance official, supporting data practices, data security, ethics, and other legal matters. He is admitted in Minnesota and Texas and before the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota. Cassidy received his J.D. from Mitchell Hamline School of Law and holds an M.S. in international finance and economics from Handelshøyskolen BI in Oslo, Norway, and a B.A. from the University of St. Thomas. Cassidy enjoys spending his time in the community, mentoring law and college students, reading on the future of tech law, and playing hockey and golf.
