Lianne Pinchuk began her career in private practice as a litigator in New York City at Weil Gotshal & Manges LLP before turning to public interest work and teaching. Lianne has taught legal research and writing and landlord-tenant law at Albany Law School. She regularly teaches continuing legal education classes on the ethics of limited scope representations and issues in landlord-tenant law. She volunteers her time to the Legal Aid Society of Northeastern New York’s attorney for the day program, representing tenants in appearances before the Albany City Court. She currently splits her time between work for the New York State Assembly and a small New York City firm.
Lianne received her B.A. from the University of Western Ontario in 1997 and her J.D. from Columbia University Law School in 2000.
