Chief Legal Officer; Vice President, Advocacy and Health Policy, Children’s Minnesota
Maria Christu was the chief legal officer and vice president of advocacy at Children’s Minnesota for eighteen years. Maria joined Children’s Minnesota as its first general counsel after practicing health care law for 15 years in the health insurance and government sectors. Maria was responsible for all legal services, risk management and compliance at Children’s Minnesota and, as vice president of advocacy, spearheaded a number of programs designed to provide high-quality, cost-effective care to children in the state and region. She serves on the Health Law Advisory Board.
