Mark Hallberg is a respected trial lawyer with more than 35 years of experience focusing on medical malpractice, personal injury, automobile and vehicular negligence, arbitration, and product liability litigation. He has dedicated his career to helping clients convey their stories in compelling and meaningful ways with an emphasis on integrity and success.
Mark Hallberg obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business from the University of Minnesota in 1975 and a Juris Doctor from William Mitchell College of Law in 1979.
Certified in civil trail advocacy by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and the Litigation Section of the Minnesota State Bar Association, Mr. Hallberg has tried more than 75 jury trials to verdict. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, an organization whose membership represents the top one percent of all trial attorneys in the nation and an Associate of the American Board of Trial Advocates. Mr. Hallberg has argued cases in the Minnesota Court of Appeals and the Minnesota Supreme Court, helping establish important legal precedents in medical malpractice law.
He has obtained several multimillion-dollar settlements on behalf of his clients, and his results are regularly listed among the state’s top settlements and verdicts. He has served as an adjunct professor at Mitchell Hamline School of Law since 1998, teaching courses in Medical Malpractice Law. He regularly speaks to medical groups about malpractice issues, and has presented dozens of continuing legal education seminars.
