Associate Dean of Graduate and Online Programs, NSU Shepard Broad College of Law
Susan Hayes Stephan graduated from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in 1992. She is the associate dean of graduate and online programs at Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law and serves as adjunct faculty at Mitchell Hamline and NSU. She has taught as an adjunct since 2001 in areas including antitrust, administrative law, civil pretrial, deposition skills, alternative dispute resolution, intellectual property, federal privacy, information security, cyber law, workers’ compensation, labor and employment, and law and economics. Prior to focusing on legal education, she practiced law beginning in 1992, with an emphasis on employment litigation and counseling, e-commerce, privacy and data security, workers’ compensation, intellectual property, and general corporate legal matters on behalf of individual and business clients.
In addition to her J.D., she received her Bachelor’s degree from Northwestern University, a Masters from New York University, and a Certificate in Online Education from the University of Minnesota.
