Professor of Law
Wendy Shea teaches Legal Analysis, Research, and Communication. She has published and presented on student success, juvenile law, and criminal law. Shea has been an active participant at regional and national legal writing conferences and was a member of the inaugural class of the Association of Legal Writing Directors Leadership Academy.
Shea taught at the Southern University Law Center for 12 years. She was the Judge Freddie Pitcher Jr. Associate Professor and taught legal analysis & writing and criminal law. She also established that school’s UBE bar prep program and taught in its Fresh Start program.
