Nothing starts off a semester like a little Foreign Law research!
Our Foreign Law Research Guide contains resources and starting points for conducting foreign legal research including secondary sources, primary law, certain countries or topics, and current awareness.
The Guides tab is filled with various secondary sources including links to other print and electronic research and topic guides, online tutorials, and print encyclopedias and dictionaries.
The Primary Law tab contains information on legal systems, constitutions, codified law, government websites, judicial decisions, gazettes, general research portals, and information on content in our subscription databases.
The Specific Countries/Topics tab has information on topic specific research guides and links to legal information for some individual countries.
The Current Awareness tab links to relevant blogs, news sources, and information that can be found in our subscription databases.
Don’t forget that the reference librarians are always here to help, too! They are available for appointments (or questions) in person or via phone (651-290-6424), chat, Zoom, or email.
