Several measures have been taken for our text rental program in response to the COVID-19 virus pandemic. As we continue to monitor the situation, we’ll take appropriate action to adjust dates listed below as necessary.
- Returning Rental Books: Free shipping labels for rental return books can be printed now and up to 30 days post check-in date for free. An email was sent to all rental patrons this week with this information. They can ship their rental books back to the store with the label provided by the bookstore website.
- Grace Period: Extended grace period from 3 days to 15 days after rental due date (no late fees until May 31st)
- Suspended Status: Turned off any rental patron going to suspended status for not returning their rentals until June 30, 2020. This means they can rent books for summer even if they have not returned their spring rental books.
- FREE Shipping: At this moment we are planning on sending out all summer book orders Fed Ex. Presently, we are offering free shipping.
We are holding incoming packages for 3 days after delivery before we open the package for COVID-19 safety measures.
