Mitchell Hamline Law Journal of Public Policy & Practice Vol. 42
You are invited to write-on to the Law Journal of Public Policy & Practice! We are seeking writing and editing associates for the 2020-2021 Journal. Law Journal’s associates work hard to produce the highest quality of legal publication available on topics relating to legal practice, legal issues faced by the public, and legal policy solutions.
Why should I write on to the Law Journal of Public Policy & Practice?
Associates will have the opportunity to create and publish timely legal articles concerning the intersection between public policy and the law. This is also a great opportunity to hone your legal writing and legal analysis skills. You will also sharpen your editing and Bluebook skills, which is a great tool to carry into practice. The Journal also hosts a Legislative Forum & Public Policy Symposium each year for associates to become involved in. Law Journal is a great opportunity to get involved at Mitchell Hamline, meet and work with students interested in evolving public policy, and work towards producing an excellent publication!
Writing Associates will earn 2 credits throughout the year, and fulfill their Long Paper requirement during the Fall, and edit articles for publication during the Fall.
Editing Associates will earn 1 credit during the year, and will hone editing skills while being involved in all Journal events and opportunities.
