Second-year student Tacota LeMuel has recently become a research fellow in the Legal Education Police Practices Consortium with the American Bar Association. The research Tacota will be doing with the fellowship is a continuation of the Police Reform Initiative that Mitchell Hamline has been actively engaged in for the last two years, which seeks to learn about police screening processes and ensure that individuals belonging to racially extremist groups are not accepted into the police force in the Twin Cities and elsewhere.
