Your level of responsibility, time investment, and specialization increase as you progress through your studies. Meanwhile, your coursework will include skills training, simulations, and role-playing exercises allowing you to get feedback on your developing legal skills.
Minnesota Justice Foundation: Students assist with pro bono legal work, off campus, supervised by on-site attorney.
Externships: Students assist in representing clients, off campus, supervised by faculty and on-site attorney, for credit.
Clinics: Students lead representation of clients, on and off campus, supervised by faculty, for credit.
Semester Placements: More intensive, long-term externships; for credit.
