Associate Teaching Professor
Professor Wainberg has worked as an academic specialist for the Office of Academic Excellence at Mitchell Hamline since 2018 and as an associate teaching professor since 2021. He teaches all of the courses offered by Academic Excellence, including Legal Methods, Bar Preparation Strategies: MPT, and Bar Preparation Strategies: MBE & MEE. He is the department’s point person for the MPT course. Professor Wainberg provides academic tutoring for students and bar exam tutoring for soon-to-be graduates and alumni. In his courses and tutoring, he works with students from the full-time and part-time in-person enrollment options as well as students from the school’s innovative blended-learning program. He is a member of the Legal Writing Institute and the Association of Academic Support Educators and has presented at multiple national conferences for the latter. In his free time, he is a member of the St. Paul Curling Club, and volunteers as a judge for mock trial and moot court competitions.
