Casey Martin is lead attorney for Bright Health Group. Bright has two market-facing segments: NeueHealth, which provides care delivery and value-based enablement services through owned and affiliated clinics, and Bright HealthCare, which offers commercial and Medicare health plan products to over one million consumers across the nation.
Casey was general counsel and chief compliance officer for Planned Parenthood North Central States (serving Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, and Nebraska). In that role, she led a team of compliance and legal professionals and counseled on a variety of health care and non-healthcare related matters, including privacy, licensure, employment, healthcare transactions, and regulatory compliance.
In 2019, Casey received Minnesota Lawyer’s Attorney of the Year award. Casey received her JD from Hamline University School of Law in 2011, where she studied both health law and healthcare compliance curricula. She teaches and mentors health law students across the nation.
