Jason Steffen spent most of his career as a public defender, first in Arizona and later in Minnesota, before being appointed by Governor Walz as a District Court Judge in Minnesota’s Tenth Judicial District. He holds a JD from Harvard Law School and a PhD in philosophy from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities.
