Dr. Rob Amos is a lecturer in law and joined Greenwich University in 2022. He has previously worked as an assistant professor in Environmental Law at Nottingham University, an associate researcher at UCL and a research fellow at Sussex University. Rob completed his Ph.D., which addressed the conservation of plants in international law, at Sussex University in 2017, his LL.M. at UCL in 2013 and his LL.B. at Swansea University in 2012. In addition to his work at Greenwich, Rob is co-lead of a research project with colleagues at UCL exploring how sustainability is, could and should be pursued in the higher education sector. Rob’s work on conservation law has been recognized internationally. He is also involved in several international conservation charities. Principal among these is the Alpine Garden Society, for which Rob convenes the Conservation Steering Group.
