Lundquist ’78 (WMCL) from Fredrikson & Byron and Michael R. Pauze, from King & Spalding in Washington, D.C. will discuss the question of how criminal laws are used to enforce statutes, regulations, and administrative policies that apply to businesses. Mr. Lundquist and Mr. Pauze were the trial lawyers for Vascular Solutions and its CEO Howard Root. They will discuss the implications of the case, not only for device companies, but for all businesses operating in a regulated environment.
