Let’s talk about Legal Citation!
Our Legal Citation Research Guide contains A collection of resources to aid students in learning how to accurately cite sources in written work, with an emphasis on the Bluebook. The various tabs in the Guide are on the following topics: Citation Fundamentals; Books, Articles, and Guides; and Workbooks and Citation Tools.
The Citation Fundamentals tab contains a basic introduction to legal citation and resources to access citation manuals and guides, as well as materials on citation abbreviations.
The Books, Articles, and Guides tab contains links to books on citation, research guides from other law libraries, journal articles on citation, and a little Bluebook fun!
The Workbooks & Citation Tools tab has links to print workbooks, interactive online tutorials, and resources for electronic citation assistance.
Don’t forget that the reference librarians are always here to help, too! They are available for appointments (or questions) in person or via phone (651-290-6424), chat, Zoom, or email.
