We are kicking off Native American Heritage Month by highlighting Native American Law research resources!
Our Native American Law Research Guide contains resources and starting points for researching Native American laws, cases, administrative law, legal commentary, and current awareness.
The Laws tab has resources for locating tribal laws and codes, federal laws and statues, legislative histories, and legal commentaries.
The Cases tab contains information on tribal cases and materials, as well as federal U.S. case law and materials.
The Administrative tab has information on the Code of Federal Regulations, federal agency websites, and executive documents.
The Legal Commentary tab has links and information on books, law reviews and journals, encyclopedias, CALI Lessons, and other useful research guides on Native American Law.
The Current Awareness tab links to relevant blogs, CLEs, news sources, newsletters, and bar journals.
Don’t forget that the reference librarians are always here to help, too! They are available for appointments (or questions) in person or via phone (651-290-6424), chat, Zoom, or email.
