Mitchell Hamline School of Law is celebrating the installation of Mark Gordon as the school’s first president and dean with several upcoming events:
Friday, April 8 – The newly combined Mitchell Hamline Law Review will hold its first post-combination banquet at the Loews Minneapolis Hotel. Former law review participants are invited to attend. Tickets are $50, with members of the judiciary eligible for a $25 discount. RSVP and register by Monday, April 4.
Saturday, April 9 – Admitted Student Day at Mitchell Hamline. Campus tours will be offered starting at 11:30 am. Admitted students can talk with current students and learn more the school’s programs and curriculum. Ramsey County Attorney John Choi ’95 will speak at a luncheon. A cocktail hour begins at 5 pm.
Saturday, April 9 – Current students will celebrate the newly combined school with an evening of wining and dining at the inaugural Barrister’s Ball, a tradition at Hamline University that’s now a part of student life at Mitchell Hamline. The event is at the InterContinental Hotel in St. Paul.
Monday, April 11 – Alumni are invited to visit campus during the Alumni Open House, from 4:30-6:30 pm. It’s a great chance to tour the campus, meet with professors, and chat with fellow alumni and current students. Register here.
Tuesday, April 12 – Mark Gordon will be installed as the first president and dean of Mitchell Hamline School of Law during an evening ceremony. George Latimer, former St. Paul mayor and former dean of Hamline University School of Law, will be the event’s main speaker.
