Mitchell Hamline School of Law held its 2020 winter commencement ceremony on Sunday, Jan. 12, at 2 pm at the RiverCentre in downtown St. Paul.
Eighty-eight students received their law degrees. They are a diverse group, ranging in age from 24 to 73 and coming from 25 states. Twenty-two of them provided 50 or more hours of public service or pro bono client representation during law school, well beyond clinic course requirements.
The keynote speaker for the ceremony was Lorie Skjerven Gildea, chief justice of the Minnesota Supreme Court, and Professor Jim Hilbert gave the Charge to the Class.
