The Minnesota Justice Foundation (MJF) Outstanding Service Awards were established in 1991 to recognize those who have demonstrated a commitment to the community through their public interest work. MJF offers these awards in recognition of the dedicated service and outstanding achievements of students, lawyers in private or corporate practice and direct legal service providers. Each recipient will be recognized at MJF’s 36th Anniversary Awards Celebration on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 with a mounted award certificate.
Law Student Volunteer Award-one student representing each of the three law schools: This award is presented to three law students who have demonstrated a sincere interest in providing legal services for low-income and disadvantaged persons as evidenced by substantial volunteer work, including activities in the client or legal communities and law school work beyond the minimum requirements for academic credit.
