Announcing Tryouts for the National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition
Mitchell Hamline will once again field a team at the Jeffrey Miller National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition, held at Pace University Law School in White Plains, New York. The competition is the largest of its kind in the country and focuses on timely issues of environmental law. Briefs are due November 21 and oral arguments are February 20-24, 2018, in White Plains, New York. Flight and hotel expenses are covered. The team is coached by Professor Konar-Steenberg, Adjunct Professor Michael Connelly, and team alumni.
Students interested in trying out will be asked to submit a writing sample and give a short oral argument based on the writing sample. Interested students should contact Professor Konar-Steenberg for more information no later than Friday, October 4, at mehmet.konar-steenberg@mitchellhamline.edu.
