Mitchell Hamline School of Law and Hamline University Center for Law and Justice will hold a Barriers to Reentry conference on February 28, 2020 at Mitchell Hamline School of Law. We are tremendously excited about the conference and hope you can attend.
Participants include Attorney General Keith Ellison, Emily Baxter (We Are All Criminals), Paul Schnell (Commissioner of Corrections), John Choi, Representative Raymond Dehn, Emily Turner (All Square) and many more.
Our keynote speaker, Reginald Dwayne Betts, transformed himself from a sixteen-year old kid sentenced to nine-years in prison to a critically acclaimed writer and graduate of Yale Law School. He has written three acclaimed collections of poetry, the recently published Felon, Bastards of the Reagan Era and Shahid Reads His Own Palm.
